<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Technology Facilitator at Lyme Consolidated School</p> <p>35 hours per week / 10-month position</p> <p>Job Goal: Ensure school district technology reliably meets educational programming needs</p> <p>Qualifications: Previous experience with technology is required. Teaching or training experience is desirable. Advanced degree or certification in technology is preferred.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work with the teachers and students to ensure technology supports educational programing. Assist staff and students with hardware and software issues, help diagnose and repair problems on computer, applications, and audio/visual systems. </li><li>Manage student technology help desk, technology inventory, and technology request system. </li><li>Proficient in all applications and equipment and operating platforms. </li><li>Proficient performing computer hardware, operating system and software repairs/updates including physically damaged equipment. </li><li>Research new and emerging technologies and resources. Proactively develop working knowledge in new applications, equipment, and operating platforms. </li><li>Manage repair schedule to ensure equipment is available, working, and ready to meet educational program needs. </li><li>Be available to resolve building technology problems on a timely basis. </li><li>Support state standardized testing. </li><li>Provide staff technology training and instruction. </li><li>Set up and maintain adaptive technologies for special needs students. </li><li>Work with administration for any additional tasks that he/she may assign. </li></ul> <p>Compensation: Per negotiated contract and commensurate with experience</p> <p>Application Procedure: Go to https://www.region18.org/district-information/employment and fill out online application</p>
