<p>Job Title: Patient Access Rep II</p> <p>Location: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Ctr</p> <p>Department Name: Radiology Support Services</p> <p>Req #: 0000208092</p> <p>Status: Hourly</p> <p>Shift: Day</p> <p>Pay Range: $21.17 - $26.74 per hour</p> <p>Pay Transparency:</p> <p>The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.</p> <p>The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>To accurately and promptly collect all pertinent information at the initial point of registration to insure the proper billing occurs, which will enhance timely cash flow and reduce the days in accounts receivable. Performs all duties assigned by management.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent (G.E.D.) </li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing processes </li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays </li><li>Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records </li><li>Strong communication skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>3 years of Patient Access experience </li><li>Post-Secondary Degree in Healthcare Administration </li><li>Certification as a Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) </li></ul> <p>Scheduling Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Shift Working: Day shift 6:30am-11:00am </li><li>Every other Saturday (6:30am 2:30pm, 7a-3p or 9a-5p) </li><li>Part-Time, 20 Hours Per Week </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
