As the largest nonprofit affordable housing provider in the nation, we build, preserve, and manage program-enriched housing across the country.</p> <p>We are looking for a Senior Property Manager to provide great customer service to our residents and direction for staff, and to partner with our community advocates to create a thriving, safe and vibrant location to call "home". The chosen candidate will oversee both the Aromor and The Rose on Colfax apartments, which provide affordable housing for individuals and families with disabilities.</p> <p>We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site position.</p> <p>Pay: $72,000-$75,000</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Several Healthcare plans to choose from, dental (includes adult and child orthodontia) and vision </li><li>15 days of earned PTO your first year, 12 company holidays + 2 floating holidays. </li><li>403b + match </li><li>Early close Fridays (3 paid hours each Friday) </li><li>Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours) </li><li>Paid Time off between Christmas and New Year's Holiday </li><li>Paid Volunteer Time </li><li>Paid Parental Leave and Care Giver Leave </li><li>Paid Life Insurance </li><li>Free Employee Assistance Plan </li><li>Free Basic Dental </li><li>Pet Insurance options </li></ul> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Ensures that rent collection procedures are followed, and benchmarks are achieved. </li><li>Ensures that occupancy levels are at budgeted levels and higher, where possible. </li><li>Ensures that the rents allowed under the regulatory programs are being achieved, where possible. </li><li>Ensures that property budgets are followed and achieved, where possible. </li><li>Ensures that property expenses are regularly reviewed and effectively managed to adhere to budgeted guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma. </li><li>Minimum of three (3) years in housing and/or property management. </li><li>Minimum of five (5) years as a manager of multi-family housing. </li><li>Working knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord and tenant laws. </li><li>Experience generating property budgets and managing affordable housing developments, including HUD, Low Income Tax Credits, Rural Housing, and Tax-Exempt Bond properties. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Professional certification in property or affordable housing management. </li><li>Exposure to/familiarity with community organizing, services, and programs. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Comprehend and communicate in the English language both orally and in writing. </li><li>Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license). </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office. </li></ul> <p>This is a brief summary of the position.
