As a Medical Assistant in our Urgent Care facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.</p> <ul> <li>Greet and prepare patients for examination, including taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and preparing exam rooms. </li><li>Assist healthcare providers during medical procedures, examinations, and minor surgical interventions. </li><li>Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws, urinalysis, and point-of-care testing. </li><li>Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by healthcare providers. </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) and patient charts. </li><li>Handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals as needed. </li><li>Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. </li><li>Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. </li><li>Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment and prioritize tasks. </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) / Mandatory Reporter. </li></ul>
