Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. </li></ul> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Supplier Quality Engineer supports the quality of externally sourced components and materials by performing quality-related tasks, collecting and analyzing data, and supporting inspection and supplier qualification activities. The position may also assist in conducting on-site supplier audits and assessments as needed.</p> <p>This position reports to the Global Supplier Quality Manager.</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing</p> <p>This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and collaboratively, staying on top of tasks, and building meaningful partnerships across teams and projects.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in analyzing inspection data for nonconforming products from external suppliers to determine disposition. </li><li>Support the generation and tracking of supplier Corrective Action Reports (CARs). </li><li>Help review component drawings and qualification documents for accuracy. </li><li>Participate in inspection method development and documentation </li><li>Support the maintenance of incoming inspection documentation (QSOPs and QC documents) </li><li>Collaborate with Engineering, NPD, and Inspection teams to resolve quality issues </li><li>Participate in training sessions and apply GD&T principles as needed </li><li>Occasionally visit local vendors to assist with on-site quality assessments </li><li>Learn and use Banner's Oracle ERP system to support supplier quality tasks </li><li>Travel 5-10% domestically to visit suppliers </li></ul> <p>What You Bring to the Table</p> <p>To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement. Reasonable accommodations may be made to support individuals with disabilities.</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) </li><li>0-3 years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or engineering-related role </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook </li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a manufacturing or quality-related role </li><li>Exposure to GD&T, root cause analysis, or basic quality tools (Pareto, 5 Whys) </li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) or quality management systems </li><li>Working toward ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>What to Expect at Work</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
