<p>What to Expect</p> <p>Tesla is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Material Planner to work in Spares department. The ideal candidate will have experience performinig both material planning and procurement in a manufacturing environment, with processing equipment This position will require a person that is capable of understanding the details of manufacturing processes and business needs.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Plan, schedule, and manage assigned critical spare parts for various product lines and facilities</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate and communicate with Sustaining Engineering and Maintenance teams for parts identification, required for minminum inventory needs and urgent orders</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with Spares manager and technicians for physical inventory audits, shipping, receiving and logistic support</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor parts coverage, track consumption trends and execute/adjust orders as needed based on demand and capacity changes</p> </li><li> <p>Bring awareness in advance to critical inventory shortage and /or supply restraints; suggest and find alternative part and sourcing options</p> </li><li> <p>Work with suppliers to issue RFQ for sourcing.
