<p>Westinghouse is seeking a Control Room Operator for an immediate project with our Energy client in King City, CA.</p> <p>Full job description</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor electronic information and provide feedback and recommendations for diagnostics as well as predictive data. </li><li>Provide daily reports comprised of total field operations. </li><li>Coordinate operations activities and emergency responses as needed. </li><li>Assist in maintaining daily activity logs, operational information </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>The primary responsibility of the Control Room Operator is to monitor the functionality of well sites and facilities for the purpose of detecting active and potential malfunctions and equipment failures </li><li>The Control Room Operator ensures the safe and efficient operation of processes, systems and associated equipment, and will be able to identify if production shutdown is necessary, where unsafe conditions are identifies </li><li>Possess the necessary communication skills that enable operators to successfully communicate between all groups </li><li>This includes fielding incoming and outgoing calls that provide accurate, current-status information to those groups </li><li>Independently compile and submit all reports that are required within the daily operations of the Control Room </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Need to have combined cycle/Cogeneration background (Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, HRSG, etc) </li><li>Preferred experience with Aeroderivative (LM6000) </li></ul> <p>Employment opportunities may require access to information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
