(Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess an bachelor's degree.)</p> <p>One year of related work experience for the assoc supply chain analyst position.</p> <p>3+ years of related work experience for the supply chain analyst position.</p> <p>Preference will be given to candidates with operations management, economics, computer science or statistics background or experience in purchasing, materials management or material management information systems.</p> <p>Effective analytical and problem-solving skills to recognize patterns in data, information or events to draw logical conclusions and to make recommendations for action.</p> <p>Knowledge of computer systems with skills to use software packages for creating spreadsheets, databases and for writing reports. Excellent interpersonal skills, a customer service focus and the ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment. This includes the ability to provide instruction, guidance and information to others.</p> <p>Monitors demand and supply for operations with the goal of optimizing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Maintain and prioritizes supply chain analytics to ensure equipment and material are obtained in a timely fashion with an emphasis on quality, cost and availability. (35%)</p> <p>Assists in analysis of various processes and data sets to provide recommended actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Review processes and inventory levels within storerooms to successfully manage supply and demand. (35%)</p> <p>Review storeroom storm response procedures to assure timely availability of materials in restoration. Coordinate emergency deliveries and material requests from internal and external sources.
