<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Providence, RI.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Payroll Specialist will process day-to-day payroll activities and payroll-related tasks with accuracy and timeliness </li><li>Support general administrative functions related to payroll and time tracking </li><li>Complete new hire setup in an Oracle-based payroll system </li><li>Monitor and manage the payroll email inbox to ensure timely processing of employee payroll changes </li><li>Process payroll for both union and non-union employee populations </li><li>Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, tax forms, and payroll schedules </li><li>As a Payroll Specialist, you will support the processing and maintenance of payroll documentation, including W-4s, I-9s, and benefit deduction forms </li><li>Assist with the preparation and distribution of payroll reports, registers, and summaries for management and finance teams </li><li>Ensure payroll data integrity and confidentiality at all times* Previous experience in payroll processing or a related administrative role </li><li>Working knowledge of payroll systems (Oracle experience preferred) </li><li>Familiarity with payroll documentation, tax forms, and benefit deductions </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills </li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict payroll deadlines </li></ul>
