<p>Position Details</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Title Anatomy Lab Manager, DCOM - Orange Park Department DCOM BASIC SCIENCES Position Category Staff Full Time Job Description</p> <p>The Anatomy Lab Facilities Manager for the Lincoln Memorial University - DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, Orange Park is responsible for the day to day management of the location facilities under the supervision of the DCOM Anatomy Department.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>High School Diploma; *Five (5) or more years experience in college based medical student education.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>bachelors degree.</p> <p>Physical Demands Campus Orange Park Florida</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>promote effective working relationships among LMU faculty, staff, students and the general public</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>oversee on-site fresh, embalmed and plastinated tissue; assist with the procurement of donors from other procurement agencies, utilization parameters, disposal and record keeping</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>maintain day to day supervisory responsibility for the Gross Anatomy Lab and associated areas (anatomy lab, morgue, tissue prep room and model room), and DCOM building</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>assist with student projects in the Gross Anatomy labs and plastination facility</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>ensure rules and regulations pertaining to laboratory safety and security are strictly adhered to by faculty, staff and students in all aspects of the Anatomy Department facilities</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>coordinate with the campus safety officer on rules, regulations, record keeping and storage of chemicals among all facilities associated with the DCOM Anatomy Department</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>coordinate with the house keeping supervisor monthly on the scheduled cleaning of all laboratories and facilities</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>oversee the supply lists and maintenance among all associated laboratories, included but not limited to; equipment, instruments, tools, technology and PPE supplies</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>oversee safety and security checklists and performs routine maintenance on laboratory equipment</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>assure the observance of quality control management</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>assure that students understand the proper care for the anatomical donors and the importance of a quality work environment</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>assurance of ready access to faculty and students to any materials or equipment properly requested</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>oversee the anatomy assistant with maintenance and internal control of wet specimens, models, and plastinated specimens</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>oversee the anatomy assistant in all aspects of his/her job duties</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>oversee the anatomy assistant on setup and design of fresh tissue and clinical skills workshops</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>maintain the internal scheduling of all laboratory facilities outside of regular teaching schedules; for example clinical workshops and special presentation workshops under the direction and supervision of anatomy faculty</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>work closely with the Administrative Assistant on lab needs</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>Advisory management role with the Anatomical Donation Program</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>Advises the Anatomical Donation Program Coordinator and Executive Director on the operations of the ADP.</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>collaborate with the Director of Lab facilities, Lab Managers and Anatomy Assistants on the main campus and additional locations to ensure safe and positive learning environment</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>maintain monthly inventory</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>coordinate with the anatomy department chairperson regarding rules, regulations, record keeping and compliance associated with the anatomy department</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>coordinate day to day usage and responsibilities of the anatomy lab areas</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>assure faculty, students and fellows adhere to proper care of the anatomy facilities and work environment</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>participate on university committees</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>answer incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls and/or taking message as necessary</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>complete required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of the University</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>other duties as assigned</p> <p>Posting Detail Information</p> <p>Posting Number S04241P Job Open Date 12/05/2025 Job Close Date 04/30/2026 Open Until Filled No Special Instructions Summary About the Institution</p> <p>Lincoln Memorial University is a values-based learning community dedicated to providing educational experiences in the liberal arts and professional studies.
