<p>Job Title</p> <p>Cleaner, Full Time 1st Shift</p> <p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>Under the direction of the Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties. Quality customer service will be always provided to the client. Candidate must have knowledge of, or willingness to learn, proper cleaning techniques. Specific tasks are not guaranteed; therefore, the candidate must be flexible in performing assigned duties.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Tuesday to Friday 11:00pm - 7:30am</p> <p>Sunday 7:00am - 3:30pm.</p> <p>Job Duties*:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Empty, clean all waste receptacles and remove wastepaper and rubbish from the premises to the designated area, damp wipe receptacles as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Empty and clean all ash trays, screen all sand urns supply and replace sand as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas in offices, lobbies and corridors.</p> </li><li> <p>Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, files, fixtures, paneling, windowsills and all other horizontal surfaces.</p> </li><li> <p>Damp wipe and polish all glass furniture tops.</p> </li><li> <p>Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, to include doors, door frames, light switches, private entrance glass and partitions.</p> </li><li> <p>Wash, clean and disinfect all water coolers.</p> </li><li> <p>Sweep, with broom, all private stairways, and vacuum if carpeted.</p> </li><li> <p>Police stairwells and clean or damp mop spillage.</p> </li><li> <p>Damp mop or clean any spillage in office and public areas as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Damp dust telephones.</p> </li><li> <p>Dust all picture frames, charts, graphs and similar wall hangings.</p> </li><li> <p>Damp dust all ceiling air conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, register and other ventilating louvers.</p> </li><li> <p>Dust the exterior surfaces of lighting fixtures, including glass and plastic enclosures.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep slop sink rooms in a clean, neat and orderly condition.</p> </li><li> <p>Wipe clean and polish all metal hardware fixtures and other bright work.</p> </li><li> <p>Dust and/or wash all directory boards as required, remove fingerprints and smudges.</p> </li><li> <p>Clean entrance door glass inside and outside.</p> </li><li> <p>Sweep or dust mop floors.</p> </li><li> <p>Sweep or damp mop outside entrance areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Properly clean and buff tile floor services as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Lamp replacement</p> </li><li> <p>Snow removal</p> </li><li> <p>Responding to flood emergencies.</p> </li></ol> <ul> <li>Job duties may be modified at any time. </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions/Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Must be able to clean 4,500 square feet per hour, which includes walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending and lifting.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have ability to work with other crew members and be able to take direction from Supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to lift to 25 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience preferred but not required.</p> </li></ol> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Good client/customer service skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow oral and written instructions.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work effectively with a team.</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to work independently is needed to support the group effort.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.</p> </li></ol> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Good client/customer service skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow oral and written instructions.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work effectively with a team.</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to work independently is needed to support the group effort.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.</p> </li></ol> <p>C&W Services is an Equal Opportunity employer to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
