<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas to teach introductory and intermediate courses for 25/26: History.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in History or related field from an accredited college or university or a foreign equivalent. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>College teaching experience. </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish and English. Other languages will be considered, as well. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $1,483/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment. </li><li>Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System. </li></ul> <p>Application Instructions:</p> <ul> <li>To be considered, please submit a resume and cover letter at time of application, including availability to teach.
