<p>Seeking Interim Recovery Specialist with clinical experience. The primary responsibilities of the Interim Recovery Specialist will include conducting individual GPRA assessments, providing individual and group recovery support, case management, coordination of care, and insurance and scheduling assistance. The Interim Recovery Specialist will advocate for, and advise clients within their assigned caseload. They will develop, monitor, and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with client and clinical team members. A strong Interim Recovery Specialist will possess characteristics such as highly developed interpersonal communication skills, empathy and compassion, ability to take on multiple tasks, and maintain a professional relationship with client and family members. Accountability: The Interim Recovery Specialist will report to the Program Manager. Also maintains open communication lines with facility staff, attending clinicians and physicians, clients, and families.</p> <p>EXPECTATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Adheres to all HarborCHC 's policies and procedures. </li><li>Observes all policies and procedures for the use of time-keeping system, including attendance, tardiness, proper clocking procedure, overtime authorization, and that employee nametag is visible. </li><li>Conducts self in a manner that represents HarborCHC 's core values at all times. </li><li>Must possess a solid commitment to the mission, policies, goals, and philosophy of HarborCHC. </li><li>Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with all work-related contacts. </li><li>Communicates regularly with his/her immediate supervisor about departmental and HarborCHC concerns. </li></ul> <p>MISSION AND VALUES</p> <p>Our mission is to provide quality, comprehensive, healthcare and supportive services to those in our community, regardless of their ability to pay. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in Trauma Informed Care and Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing. Seeking Safety, Relapse Prevention and other evidence-based behavioral therapies. </li><li>Provides evidenced based recovery support interventions based on individual response to treatment. </li><li>Assess individual's needs, abilities and behavior using a variety of methods including interviews and direct observation. </li><li>Works collaboratively with the individual and the clinical team to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses priority needs of the individual, desired treatment outcomes, an agreed upon plan of action, and reassessment. </li><li>Maintains individual records related to screening, intake, treatment, continuing care, progress toward goals and objectives, discharge summary, and treatment outcomes that are accurate, concise, timely, and useful for coordinating treatment team planning, monitoring, and review (Substance Use Disorder based experiences). </li><li>Provides evidenced based interventions based on individual response to treatment. </li><li>Provides individual and/or family recovery support according to treatment plan of care. </li><li>Participates in treatment team meetings and makes recommendations as appropriate. </li><li>Develops and maintains good rapport with individual, family, clinical staff, other departments, and visitors as well as outside referral sources and physicians. </li><li>Maintains the highest level of professionalism and is customer service focused at all times. </li><li>Actively works to build individual case load. </li><li>Serves as a resource to outpatient center and makes referrals to outside agencies when appropriate. </li><li>Displays concern and initiative. Is resourceful and calm in emergencies. </li><li>Seeks guidance and remains knowledgeable of, and complies with, all applicable federal and state laws, as well as company policies that apply to assigned duties. </li><li>Assists with SUD Grant reporting and projects. </li><li>Complies with company expectations regarding ethical behavior and standards of conduct. </li><li>Daily task of communicating with UR and meeting their requests. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Required education, experience and/or training:</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.</p> <p>Experience: Preference for prior clinical experience.</p> <ul> <li>Maintains current First Aid and CPR training, valid California Driver's license and provides copies of all current certifications to the Facility. </li><li>Familiar with individual, family, didactic and group therapy modalities. </li><li>Assumes responsibility for own personal and professional growth. Keeps current via professional literature and stays up-to-date with professional techniques, theories and procedures. Observes the facility personnel requirements contained in the policy and procedure manual. </li><li>Assist Director of Addiction Medicine and the Program Manager with building, managing, and implementing a SUD curriculum for individual and group sessions. </li><li>Maintain a high level of professional practice and promote positive individual relations. </li><li>Be flexible in scheduling in order to meet individual needs. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of the principles and current practices in the field of addiction. </li><li>Skill in interviewing and performing intake assessments/screenings and person-centered treatment planning. </li><li>Ability to maintain appropriate clinical records. </li><li>Knowledge and practice of ethical principles. </li><li>Ability to present ideas with a high degree of effectiveness, both verbally and written. </li><li>Ability to establish rapport and confidence with consumers and their families and with colleagues. </li><li>Ability to use the computer for scheduling, billing, and clinical documentation. </li></ul> <p>HR PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Legal authorization to work in the United States. </li><li>Clear all post offers, pre-employment background screening, and education verification. </li><li>Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a qualifying medical/religious exemption. </li><li>This is not intended to cover all aspects of your description as additional duties may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust.</p> <p>Hours: HarborCHC is open Monday-Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm, Friday 8:15am-5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional overtime, or other shifts based on clinic need.
