We are seekinga coach who is passionate about developing young athletes andbuilding a united, positive team culture. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, clear communication skills, and a commitment to using athletics as a platform for character development.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Proven coaching experience in football </li><li>Strong technical knowledge of football and commitment to ongoing learning </li><li>Ability to lead a full program and model positive character for student-athletes and coaching staff </li></ul> <p>Reports To: Athletic Director</p> <p>Supervises: High school assistant coaches and supports middle school coaches</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Program Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Create and sustain a strong, inclusive team culture grounded in respect, discipline, sportsmanship, and shared purpose </li><li>Oversee all aspects of the football program, including practices, game preparation, and player development </li><li>Collaborate closely with the athletic department and coaching staff to ensure alignment across varsity, JV, middle school, and youth feeder programs </li><li>Support student-athlete well-being, including promoting academic achievement, leadership, and positive decision-making on and off the field. </li><li>Ensure compliance with district, league, and state policies </li><li>Manage equipment, budget needs, and program logistics </li></ul> <p>Staff & Student Development</p> <ul> <li>Develop a comprehensive football philosophy and system that supports growth, skill development, and competitive success at all levels of the program </li><li>Promote academic success, strong character, and positive conduct </li><li>Provide a safe environment through clear expectations and injury protocols </li></ul> <p>Community Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Build relationships with families, youth programs, alumni, and community partners </li><li>Promote the program within the school and community to strengthen support and participation </li><li>Maintain positive communication with parents, boosters, and media </li></ul> <p>Stipend: $9501</p> <p>Interested candidates may apply using the "apply" link above or by visiting the district website - Career Opportunities https://www.applitrack.com/hhhny/onlineapp/.</p>
