K-8)</p> <p>A-S Program hours: Mon. through Fri. 1:00p.m.-6:00p.m.(with additional hours/days noted below according to MPS school calendar); Additional hours may be required for before-school coverage, planning, days noted below, and as needed by the Program Manager of Community Programs.</p> <p>Summer Program hours: varies between M-F, 7:00am-5:00pm.</p> <p>Programs to run through the school year, including, open houses, professional development days, parent conference days, all other half days & delayed openings, winter and spring recesses, and summer.</p> <p>Hours not to exceed 29 hours/week on average and are subject to change.</p> <p>DATE OF OPENING: August 25, 2025</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of Bachelor's degree or greater strongly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience as out-of-school-time coordinator preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational and record keeping skills, and attendance record</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of curriculum frameworks for grades K-8 or willingness to learn them</p> </li><li> <p>Successful experience working collaboratively with others, preferably educators</p> </li><li> <p>Successful experience working with K-8 students, including at-risk and struggling students.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience supervising staff preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications</p> </li><li> <p>CPR/First Aid preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate all aspects of the after-school & summer programs for the K-8 students, as required by the program manager/assistant manager, e.g., development of program curriculum, staff scheduling and evaluations, purchasing supplies and materials, and field trips, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage before and after-school & summer personnel, food services, & parent drop-off and pick-up</p> </li><li> <p>Work with program partners and make transportation arrangements for field trips, if necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Meet with the program manager &/or assistant program manager to discuss program/student issues</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain communications with parents, program manager, assistant program manager, and staff, regarding program and/or students; excellent attendance required</p> </li><li> <p>Keep required records, timesheets, and submit reports accurately and in a timely manner</p> </li><li> <p>Hold planning/monthly meetings and submit notes of each to the program manager. Workshops are scheduled for Tuesday, November 4th.
