<p>Montessori by the See is seeking a Lead Lower Elementary teacher to be part of our exceptional team! In this unque location right on the beach, we can take advantage of the natural coastal waters and tropical environment to bring hands-on marine science learning directly to our students. Candidates need to have a passion for creating a warm and inviting academic environment, delivering high quality, experiential curriculum; fostering respect and cooperation, and allowing each child to realize his or her maximum potential. The ability to form strong connections and respectful relationships with the families and students is essential to this postion. We place high value on the bonds we foster in this small and quaint community with our faculty, parents and children, making it a truly special school to work in.</p> <p>Qualifications: - Experienced as a Montessori guide in the Elementary Level I classroom with a AMS, AMI or MACTE certification</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university </li><li>Willingness to collaborate regularly with colleagues and be a team player </li><li>Effective time management and organizational skills </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: 58,000-68,000</p> <p>Description of Community: Montessori by the Sea is a small community with faculty and families that work in harmony to support the students that attend here. MbtS children learn indoors and out, in groups and individually. They explore and actively engage in our seaside campus, using the beach as an opportunity to discover marine science and aquatic wildlife.
