AND Weekly Pay!</p> <p>Join our LACOSTA Family of high-performing individuals to help us continue to deliver quality services to our Fortune-100 customers!</p> <p>Job Skills / Requirements</p> <p>LACOSTA is looking to add an experienced Painter to our team in Waukegan, IL.</p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM</p> <p>Pay: $23-28 an hour paid weekly DOE (every Friday)</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for performing tasks as assigned by Department Supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li>Apply paint to various surfaces, including: walls, floors, doors, safety poles, and rails <p></p> </li><li> <p>Scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting</p> </li><li> <p>Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection</p> </li><li> <p>Make small repairs to fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, or other fillers</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize high lifts or ladders when it's needed</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all safety requirements and standards at all times</p> </li><li> <p>Apply paint to multiple substrates and surfaces.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for ensuring work area is kept clean and safe.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to understand the proper use of paints and solvents to work in an efficient yet effective manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work as a team player with other employees in the Specialty and Operation Departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Must use proper personal protective equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to be flexible with varying job assignments and working conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for following plant rules as it pertains to each job site.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must have Painting / Prepping experience </li><li>Must have experience with drywall and sheetrock work </li><li>Must be energetic, pleasant & professional </li><li>Strong communication skills </li><li>Understanding of customer service </li><li>Recognize and understand safety signs and building warning systems.
