We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to lead our evening Environmental Services team. As a Team Leader, you will ensure that patient rooms, public areas, and equipment are impeccably cleaned according to our established procedures. Apply now to make a difference in our healthcare environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>In the absence of the shift supervisor, temporarily act in a supervisory capacity; assume the responsibilities of the shift supervisor. </li><li>Report problems and suggestions to the shift supervisor. </li><li>Communicate with unit personnel and other departments regarding specific needs in order to complete assignments. </li><li>Ensure that the daily work of all team members is assigned and that team members are working in assigned area. </li><li>Ensure that sufficient supplies and equipment are available for subordinates. Report all problems to the shift supervisor. </li><li>Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair. </li><li>Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor. </li><li>Comply with all Hospital/Department policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma/GED preferred </li><li>2 years relevant experience required </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <ul> <li>Act 34 </li></ul> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p>
