<p>The Lane Construction Corporation is one of America's leading construction companies, specializing in large, complex civil infrastructure. Lane also specializes in tunnels, metro and railway systems, as well as airports and water and wastewater treatment plants</p> <p>This position is for night shift supporting Lane's joint venture project on the I-405.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Mentors, coaches, provides feedback and evaluates performance of safety employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops, organizes, and implements safety related programs that meet company safety standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs and documents jobsite inspections and audits with a focus on hazard recognition and unsafe behaviors.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates and conducts safety meetings/training programs to ensure effective communication amongst employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures safety completion by reviewing the job hazard analysis for major phases of work.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains contact with corporate insurance department to ensure proper documentation has been prepared and maintained on asset loss and workers compensation claims.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Advanced safety certificate, CHST, ASP, CSP preferred </li><li>1 year safety management experience in heavy civil construction </li></ul> <p>Lane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
