<p>ANTICIPATED OPENING</p> <p>School Spring Posting #</p> <p>Title of Position: ACCESS 21 SUMMER EDUCATION INTERN</p> <p>Work Year: Summer</p> <p>Effective Date of Employment: June 30, 2025 through July 24, 2025 (plus training hours)</p> <p>Salary: $15.00 per hour</p> <p>Organizational Relationship</p> <p>Or Line of Authority: Program or Assistant Program Director</p> <p>Internship Coordinator, Education Internship Coordinator, Summer Coordinator</p> <p>Statement of Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Complete education internship training and pre-program planning </li><li>Assist Discovery Club Mentor Teacher in delivery of instruction </li><li>Work as a member of a team with other staff and Student Education Interns after school over the course of about 60 planning and program hours </li><li>Assist with evaluation and data collection </li><li>Complete final Internship program requirements </li><li>Responsible for other duties as indicated by directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designees; and policies of the Haverhill School Committee. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Haverhill High School student, currently in grades 9-12 </li><li>Interest in a career in the Education field </li><li>Experience in Discovery Club or Access 21 - Preferred. </li><li>Ability to work with children </li><li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable. </li></ul> <p>An Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>The Haverhill Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is in compliance with Federal regulations prohibiting discrimination in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or disability.</p>
