<p>Kforce has a client in Acton, MA that is seeking a Technical Writer with hands-on experience in structured content management systems to support the migration and implementation of a DITA-based platform. This role blends technical writing, process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to enable scalable content delivery.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support the implementation and migration to a component content management system (CCMS) </li><li>Document processes during the transition from unstructured to structured content workflows </li><li>Collaborate with content strategists, labeling designers, and external consultants to ensure successful CCMS adoption* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technical Communication, Library Science, or related field </li><li>3+ years of experience in technical writing, content administration, or CMS management </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Acrobat) </li><li>Experience creating user-facing instructional manuals </li><li>Strong project management and communication skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with DITA and structured content systems </li><li>Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet </li><li>Background in healthcare, life sciences, or diabetes-related content </li><li>Ability to understand and communicate technical and clinical concepts clearly </li></ul>
