<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The IT Project Manager for the Department of Water oversees and manages technology projects that support water and wastewater operations. This role ensures projects align with departmental technology strategies, budgets, and City IT governance standards. Key responsibilities include planning and tracking projects, conducting needs assessments, defining deliverables, managing risks, and ensuring quality and change control.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field AND?5 years of proven work experience in Information Technology as a Software Developer, Programmer, Application or Systems Analyst AND?2 years of experience as a project manager or project leader;</p> <p>Certifications</p> <p>Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PGMP), Certified Scrum Master/CSM, or Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner/PMI ACP Certification is required within 12 months of appointment.</p> <p>License Requirements</p> <p>Must possess a valid driver's license at time of appointment and maintain thereafter as a term and condition of continued employment.</p> <p>Notes</p> <p>Applications must specifically address each of the minimum qualifications, directly showing how each is met.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Click here for benefit information.</p>
