As a Program Specialist, you'll be the backbone of our community-focused services-organizing activities, connecting participants to vital resources, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. If you're passionate about advocacy, thrive in dynamic environments, and love working with diverse populations, this role is for you.</p> <ul> <li>Program Support: Assist the Program Manager with scheduling, outreach, and activity coordination. </li><li>Direct Engagement: Lead and participate in events, workshops, and the monthly Brown Bag Program to support participants' well-being. </li><li>Resource Navigation: Help seniors access community services, food donations, and healthcare resources. </li><li>Data & Logistics: Track participant feedback, manage donations, and maintain accurate records for reporting. </li><li>Community Collaboration: Represent BAMSI at local meetings and build partnerships to enhance services. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience: 2+ years working with seniors/special needs populations (Associate's in Human Services preferred, or equivalent experience).</p> </li><li> <p>Bilingual Required: Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, or Haitian Creole.</p> </li><li> <p>Skills:</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, social media, Zoom).</p> </li><li> <p>Compassionate advocate with excellent communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Greater Brockton resources (a plus!).</p> </li><li> <p>Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 40 lbs, ascend stairs, and transport items.</p> </li><li> <p>Must Have: Valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation</p> </li></ul>
