Hovnanian is looking for a Sophomore, or Junior in an undergraduate degree program majoring in one of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Cybersecurity </li><li>Computer Engineering </li><li>Computer Science </li><li>Information Systems </li><li>Information Technology </li></ul> <p>Possess 3.3 GPA or greater, be eager to learn and have good communication skills.</p> <p>This cybersecurity internship is designed to provide exposure to a variety of real-life security tasks that a junior or entry-level security analyst would be expected to perform. Alongside a senior Cybersecurity team member, this person will be tasked with various responsibilities allowing the right person experience with a variety of tools.</p> <p>This individual will be responsible for the following:</p> <ul> <li>Investigating alerts on our antivirus platform. </li><li>Closing tickets on SOC portal and ServiceNow. </li><li>Review potential phishing emails in the information security inbox. </li><li>Assist with monthly phishing campaigns and security awareness training. </li><li>Review Splunk logs. </li><li>Review Microsoft defender to configure and deploy policies. </li><li>Review our honeypot tool to configure and deploy policies. </li><li>Assist with building work automation scripts. </li><li>Working actively with our SOC to improve our security posture. </li><li>Research new software and create playbook and documentation. </li><li>Ability to learn our cybersecurity tool very quickly. </li><li>Engage with vendors as needed to improve and update our security tools. </li></ul> <p>This position qualifies for a hybrid schedule; 3 days on-site and 2 days remote TBD, typically 9-5 M-F.</p> <p>If you are eager to gain real-world experience and want to work with a great team, we want to hear from you.</p>
