<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Pharmacy Courier is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of prescription medications and pharmacy-related items to patients (in future) and TWC surrounding health centers. This role plays a critical part in supporting patient care by ensuring medications are transported securely, confidentially, and in compliance with all regulations.</p> <p>REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS</p> <p>This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager. No other roles report to this position.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and in compliance with legal regulations </li><li>Pick up and deliver prescription medications and pharmacy supplies according to scheduled routes </li><li>Verify delivery information and obtain required signatures or confirmations </li><li>Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of medications, including temperature-sensitive item </li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations at all times </li><li>Communicate professionally with pharmacy staff, patients, and healthcare providers </li><li>Maintain accurate delivery logs and records to be provided to Pharmacy Manager </li><li>Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues </li><li>Ensure efficient route selection and follows all safety and company rules </li><li>Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Meet The Wright Center for Community Health and its affiliated entity The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education EOS People Analyzer Tool </li><li>Buy in and experience working in the EOS model (strongly preferred) </li><li>Mission-oriented; represents the enterprise in a professional manner while demonstrating organizational pride </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Maintain valid drivers license and clean driving record (MVR) </li><li>Compliance with HIPAA regulations </li></ul>
