It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 102-bed facility, a large multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services. The Greater Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Radiology Tech Aide performs specific tasks supporting the delivery of patient care in an assigned area. Works under the direction of a Registered Technologist and/or Registered Nurse. Assists with receiving patients in the exam room, proper positioning of patients for exams, discussing exams and preps with patients. Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use. Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality. Stock supplies and manage inventory in the department. Assists in the transport of patients to and from the designated exam area and with other duties as assigned.
