Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher.</p> <p>Qualification:</p> <p>Education/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or at least 48 hours of college coursework completed (an unofficial college transcript will be required prior to hiring) </li><li>Valid Texas educational aide certificate </li></ul> <p>Special Knowledge/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work with children with disabilities </li><li>Ability to follow verbal and written instructions </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively </li><li>Knowledge of general office equipment </li><li>Bilingual preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Some experience working with children </li></ul> <p>Minimum salary $24,041 /187 days</p> <p>Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.</p>
