Uses the Materials Management Information System to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs all duties necessary to ensure that the supply needs of the hospital are met in a timely and high quality manner.</p> <p>Recruiter: Jennifer Gordon || apply@covhlth.com</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for counting and replenishing par level supply carts using the handheld computers and the MMIS. </li><li>Responsible for entering stock issues and direct patient charges into the MMIS. </li><li>Provides stock labeling assistance as directed. </li><li>Responsible for restocking the operating rooms and delivering case supplies to the O/R </li><li>Delivers orders and shipments to end user departments as assigned. </li><li>Reconciles patient charges and issues using the MMIS. </li><li>Required to aid in the cycle count and physical inventory processes as directed. </li><li>Performs equipment-tracking functions using equipment management software. </li><li>Responsible for counting and replenishing stock on code carts and isolation carts. </li><li>Provides training and education to peer staff on topics such as par management, use of handheld technologies, and patient charging. </li><li>Responsible for professional communications with customers and support personnel via telephone or in person. </li><li>Replenishes surgical case carts as assigned. </li><li>Cleans and decontaminates patient rental equipment according to policy guidelines. </li><li>Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned or requested. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Education:</p> <p>None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
