<p>Job Description: Quality Engineer</p> <p>As a Quality Engineer, you will implement and manage process and product controls to ensure first-time product quality. You will resolve daily in-process quality issues and evaluate materials and components against customer and regulatory requirements.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Resolve daily in-process quality issues for assigned value streams. </li><li>Lead investigation and resolution for internal nonconformances, customer product quality complaints, and supplier quality concerns using disciplined problem-solving techniques such as 8D and DMAIC. </li><li>Facilitate and manage continuous improvement teams to enhance safety and reduce the cost of quality metrics. </li><li>Capture and maintain Quality scorecard metrics and recommend improvements to transition the organization from a reactive to a proactive culture. </li><li>Develop and lead internal product/process quality audit systems, closing out audit findings and reporting results to upper management. </li><li>Design systems for recording and analyzing product quality levels and interpret and report trends and improvement plans as part of the Quality Operating System. </li><li>Utilize statistical data to identify and resolve safety and quality problems, leading initiatives focused on problem prevention and variance reduction. </li><li>Create, modify, and implement sampling plans, quality standards, and process control instructions. </li><li>Review and establish PPAP requirements for product/process changes and new product development. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract position based out of Bartlett, IL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
