<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Performs all duties associated with sterile processing activities. This requires an in-depth knowledge of surgical instrumentation, standard sterilization practices and methods as well as medical terminology. Responsible for maintaining high standards for decontamination, assembly, inspecting, wrapping, sterilization, and dispatch of surgical instruments and medical equipment for Surgical Services and all Ancillary Departments. Works in conjunction with the OR staff and other departments to provide timely sterile products, trays, case carts, and supplies. The CPD Tech maintains quality, consistency and continuous workflow between the OR and Sterile Processing while practicing above average customer service.</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of Sterile Processing Program Achieved </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in Healthcare - Sterile/Central Processing Preferred </li></ul> <p>Certifications/Licensures:</p> <ul> <li> <p>CRCST Certified Registered Central Service Technician - IAHCSMM Required or</p> </li><li> <p>Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - CBSPD The Certification Board for Sterile Required</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledgeable in sterile technique and the principles of aseptic practice.</p> </li><li> <p>Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude required.</p> </li><li> <p>Critical thinking regarding job safety measures.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in practice of instrument, implant, supply and equipment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work shift: 07:00-23:00 Start to 15:30-07:30 End</p> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>08.0 Per Diem No Waive (United States of America)</p> <p>Pay Range:</p> <p>$34.66 - $45.01</p> <p>Hourly</p> <p>Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.</p> <p>Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.</p> <p>Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
