<p>Overview</p> <p>We are Hiring a Practice Manager for Department of Radiology!</p> <p>Location: Lousiville, KY, Downtown Campus</p> <p>Shift: Hybrid Schedule Opportunity, Full Time Days,</p> <p>About Us</p> <p>UofL Hospital, an academic teaching and research hospital, is at the heart of the Louisville metro area in downtown Louisville. UofL Hospital offers a second-to-none cancer center, world-renowned trauma team, and a uniquely streamlined, nationally accredited stroke center. UofL Hospital is the only adult Level I trauma center in the region. The trauma center admits more than 3,000 patients each year, including 1,500 patients a year who live outside Jefferson County and its surrounding counties-making it a resource not only for Louisville residents but also for people throughout Kentuckiana. The hospital is also the home to the only dedicated burn center in Kentucky. UofL Hospital proudly received magnet designation in fall 2022.</p> <p>Our Mission</p> <p>As an academic health care system, we will transform the health of the communities we serve through compassionate, innovative, patient-centered care</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the physician practice; overall responsible for the routine business and clinical functions through administrative and clinical staff to ensure maximum utilization of resources and the efficient delivery of services; develops and oversees implementation and administration of internal practice and policies and procedures.</p> <p>This may also be specialty or multi-specialty environment.</p> <ul> <li>Meeting the business and financial goals as well as the goals for patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction. </li><li>Prepare, recommend, and monitor clinic budget, goals, and objectives taking into consideration input from physicians and staff. Track and reconcile annual expenses, and monitor financials to explain budget variances. </li><li>Approve ULP invoices and travel in Premier accounts payable system. </li><li>Prepare physician special payroll utilizing Qgenda reports, track extra shift compensation for budget and annual survey and verify physician faculty bonuses quarterly. </li><li>Manage hospital contract billing to ensure timely collections. </li><li>Manage provider enrollment for all Radiology providers. </li><li>Participate in the planning and development of policies and procedures, as well as clinic-specific procedures and programs. </li><li>Ensure and maintain environment to comply with regulatory, licensure, compliance, and accreditation requirements. </li><li>Act as the liaison between the practice and Central Billing Office including provider addendums. Analyze and organize data from the daily radiology reports to ensure studies are billed appropriately. Use of Cerner applications including exam management is required. </li><li>Assist Director of Clinical Operations and Diagnostic Radiology Chair with implementation and development of long-range plans. </li><li>Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the practice. </li><li>Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities and modifying activities as necessary to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained. </li><li>Shows concern for our patients, physicians, and team members by listening, empathizing and responding promptly. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Required Education: Associate degree in Business Administration or related field with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration preferred. Clinical certificate/license (CCMA, LPN, RN….)</p> <p>Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration preferred.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Required Experience for Position: One year of work and supervisory experience in practice management</p> <p>Advanced Excel experience required</p> <p>Preferred Experience for Position: 3 - 5 years practice management or practice administrator experience</p> <p>Effective working knowledge of healthcare financial management, specifically medical practice accounting, third party reimbursement issues, patient flow and facilities management.</p>
