We will foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic, and population research.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Medicine has an opening for a 30-hour per week (0.75 FTE) Advanced Practice Provider (APP), which includes Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in our Department of Radiology/Division of Abdominal Imaging. This position will be hired at the rank of Clinical Instructor and will work in collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in the field of abdominal imaging. The position will be responsible for independently performing minor fluoroscopy procedures, including barium swallows, modified barium swallows, upper GIs, enemas, urinary fluoroscopy procedures, and lumbar punctures, in addition to ultrasound thyroid and nodal biopsies. Additionally, the position will provide research support for our clinical trials group.</p> <p>Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in North Carolina is required.</p> <p>Minimum Education and Experience Requirements</p> <p>Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (for NPs) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program (for PAs).</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience</p> <p>Clinical research experience.</p> <p>Special Physical/Mental Requirements Campus Security Authority Responsibilities</p> <p>Not Applicable.</p> <p>Special Instructions Quick Link https://unc.peopleadmin.com/postings/297967</p>
