For more information, visit?www.hormelfoods.com.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Exceed sales tonnage and product mix goals in the assigned territory by effectively calling on and selling focus distributors and key operator accounts.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports the generation of additional sales by effectively identifying and calling on operators in the territory.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilizes available promotional programs to maximize sales as compared to promotional monies spent.</p> </li><li> <p>Assures all administrative duties are handled in a timely manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides pertinent territorial information regarding customers' and competitors' activities for use by management in assessing sales performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Initiates and maintains up-to-date operator profile records utilizing Salesforce.com on key operators in the territory.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel 25%.</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li> <p>3+ years of Foodservice Sales Experience.</p> </li><li> <p>A pattern of initiative.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent management and leadership skills.</p> </li><li> <p>A pattern of strong goal setting and results.</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to establish strategic selling initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Highly developed interpersonal and persuasive skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.</p> </li><li> <p>Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree. </li></ul> <p>LOCATION:</p> <p>This role will work out of a home office in Philadelphia, PA.</p> <p>At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
