We are seeking a technology executive who will contribute to the success of our technology initiatives in our digital transformation and modernization journey.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <p>Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Digital Platforms, the Head of Money Movement Platforms will be responsible for developing the vision and associated roadmap, development and delivery of capabilities, life cycle management, and effective utilization of money movement capabilities. The leader will be responsible for product managing U.S. Bank's Money Movement Hub that enables the bank's money movement capabilities to support our Consumer and Small Business, Payments: Merchants and Institutional, Payments: Consumer and Small Business, and Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking businesses. This hub also includes omnichannel capability for cash and check across branch, ATM, and mobile.</p> <p>This role will lead a team of Product Managers with full-stack teams to execute and deliver on the platform capabilities, implementing the platform across real-time payments rails (RTP and FedNow), legacy rails (ACH, wires), and integration into all end-point digital and API-enabled channels. The leader will collaborate with peers and other executives to strategize, prioritize, implement, and measure our impact and growth of the Money Movement Platform, to maximize platform and product value to the bank. They will drive innovation in the money movement space, exploring new technologies and payment methods, and identifying opportunities to differentiate the platform.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to define product capabilities and experience and align with segment and enterprise strategies. </li><li>Establish, monitor, and maintain cross-departmental communication about how product work is prioritized and managed, as well as how key metrics are performing. </li><li>Partner with capability managers, delivery managers, architects, UX Design, scrum masters, business lines, and other product managers to evangelize the best solutions and facilitate execution across various stakeholders. </li><li>Be a hands-on leader who excels at data analysis and customer research to drive discovery and ensure the right problems are identified along with the most fitting solution. </li><li>Work collaboratively across Business Lines / Functions to define, sequence, and execute their portion of the Money Movement Platform roadmap. </li><li>Advocate and embody customer obsession resulting in simple, frictionless, and innovative products/experiences. </li><li>Present persuasively and authoritatively to peers and senior leadership, while facilitating collaborative conversation. </li><li>Take products from initial concept through to customer deployment and into production operation. </li><li>Articulate and resolve the trade-off between conflicting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g., timeline vs. risk). </li><li>Clearly quantify the strategic value and business benefit of the Money Movement Platform and contribute to executive management evangelization for investment approval. </li><li>Demonstrate thought leadership by integrating analytics to drive innovative experiences for customers that have a positive impact on business results. </li><li>Create and manage a consistent, repeatable set of product artifacts (product-level roadmaps, feature/function gap analysis, journey/process maps, inventory of "best-in-class" experiences), evolving them in sync as our business changes and grows. </li><li>Travel, domestically and internationally; approximately 15%. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with MBA preferred. </li><li>15 or more years of digital product management, fintech, or engineering experience. </li><li>Deep domain knowledge of payment rails, money movement capabilities, and how payments occur at the channel point of interaction both above and below the glass. </li><li>Familiarity with money movement ecosystems (FIS, Fiserv, TCH, NCR, Zelle, and more). </li></ul> <p>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Considerable experience with product development in a product Agile environment. </li><li>Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Excellent management, leadership, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Experience building reusable platforms within the payments or fintech industry. </li><li>Extensive product/program development, implementation, and strategic analysis experience within a matrixed environment. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of competitive markets, operations, and various products and services within financial services or other direct-to-consumer industries. </li><li>Strong financial and competitive analysis skills. </li><li>Considerable experience with legacy transformation. </li></ul> <p>LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES</p> <ul> <li>Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the data product organization. </li><li>Customer-Centric Approach: Understand and address customer needs and feedback in the development of data products. </li><li>Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with a broader range of stakeholders, including external partners and customers. </li><li>Change Management: Lead and manage change initiatives related to data products and processes. </li><li>Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of data products and initiatives. </li></ul> <p>If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members' whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
