Hunt Transport Services Neuroscience Institute; Washington Regional Walker Heart Institute; Washington Regional Women and Infants Center; Washington Regional Total Joint Center; and Washington Regional Pat Walker Center for Seniors.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The role of the Infant Nutrition Lab Tech reports to the Clinical Nutrition Manager. This position is responsible for preparation and delivery of all infant feedings and ensuring preparation techniques and regulations established by local, state, federal, and Washington Regional are maintained.</p> <p>Essential Position Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients </li><li>Review physician orders to prepare prescribed feedings </li><li>Communicate with interdisciplinary team regarding feeding, formula, or administration issues </li><li>Ensure safe, effective, and sanitary use of equipment </li><li>Maintain log of feedings, temperature records, and equipment issues </li><li>Assist with maintaining stock and notify supervisor of inventory discrepancies </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: High school diploma or GED, required. </li><li>Licensure and Certifications: N/A </li><li>Experience: Previous experience in a patient care or lactation-based setting, preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment: This position will spend approximately 80% of the time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs and 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.</p>
