<p>Job Description</p> <p>The Operations Intern will support the Service Center Operations department and will gain exposure to equipment management, transportation coordination and operations planning.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Other duties and projects, as assigned. </li><li>Under supervision, assist in the planning, supervision, and control of available resources associated with the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts. </li><li>Gain understanding of load planning safety and maintenance. </li><li>Assist in job task assignment according to unloading and loading schedules. </li><li>Gain exposure to work assignment coordination, and performance monitoring. </li><li>Provide a clean, safe working environment for all personnel and visiting customers. </li><li>Support our values driven culture focused on creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, excellence, and wellness. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be pursuing a college degree, required </li><li>Supply Chain and Business majors, preferred </li><li>Minimum 2.5 GPA, preferred </li><li>No prior experience necessary </li><li>Basic computer skills, required </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required </li><li>Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship for employment Upon Hire, required </li><li>Active Learning </li><li>Flexibility and Adaptability </li><li>Initiative </li><li>Interpersonal Relationships </li><li>Managing Multiple Priorities </li><li>Problem Solving </li></ul> <p>Other Details</p> <ul> <li>This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week.
