<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Evening Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Mental Health Worker to join our Behavioral Health team located at Mt Sinai Rehab Hospital.</p> <p>The MHW is responsible for working in the Behavioral Health Unit to provide a safe and healthy treatment environment by providing direct patient care, observing patient behavior, collecting data, and providing group and individual interventions to assist the psychiatric patient towards recovery and rehabilitation.</p> <p>You Will Be Responsible For:</p> <ul> <li>Provides individualized patient care in a safe and effective manner. </li><li>Perform and document vital signs, ADLs, patient observations and other patient care activities. </li><li>Responds rapidly to emergency call lights and performs safety checks. </li><li>Communicate effectively with patient population. </li><li>Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in the Human Services </li><li>Certification: AHA CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers </li><li>Possesses a broad practical understanding of life experiences and the ability to relate to emotionally ill individuals. </li><li>Prior experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks. Maintain confidentiality.
