<p>The Family Engagement Coordinator will plan and implement a series of family and community education events across the district's three schools during the 2025-2026 school year. These events will support families in understanding child development, promoting healthy choices, and partnering with school to support their children's growth. Overview Pioneer Valley Regional School District is committed to maintaining strong, two-way communication with families and community partners. We recognize that family and community engagement is essential to student well-being, academic success, and resilience. Key Responsibilities In collaboration with school principals, district leadership, and community partners, the Coordinator will: 1. Plan and implement family engagement events 2. Strengthen school-family partnerships 3. Collect data and report outcomes Possible Program Topics Parenting Adolescents in the Digital Age Cyberbullying and Digital Drama "Is It Bullying or Just Conflict?" Understanding Behavioral Red Flags (e.g., depression, anxiety) Resilience-Building Strategies for Families Bridges Math Night / Literacy Nights Strategies for Success in School</p>
