The American Studies Department offers an interdisciplinary B.A. degree in American Studies, B.A. degree in Media and Communications, and B.A. degree in Black Studies. These courses meet major elective requirements and general education requirements.</p> <p>Candidates for adjunct positions should have a record of high-quality teaching in support of the College Mission.</p> <p>We are seeking applicants who can teach mainly lower-division United States history courses that are part of Old Westbury's Liberal Education Curriculum, required for all students.
