The Pricing Analyst provides ongoing support for accounts, sales and operating company personnel on all aspects of pricing implementation and maintenance. The Pricing Analyst works with appropriate personnel in resolving issues that impact the pricing system, sales and merchandising.</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Support of sales teams to implement and maintain margins to ensure profitability. </li><li>Determine special pricing, set up methodology, and implementation strategy to support contractual agreements with local, regional and national independent and key account customers. </li><li>Interpret and communicate manufacturer program changes to ensure that pricing databases are updated to reflect the price changes and maintain appropriate sell prices and gross margin percentages (involves cross functional contact and decision making skills with Costing, Merchandising, Information Systems, Sales, Manufacturers and Brokers). </li><li>Online support of our West Coast Distribution points through West Coast operating hours. </li><li>Other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>#LI-AR1</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelors in business, related area or Equivalent Experience</p> <p>Relevant Pricing or closely related internship or office experience</p> <p>Strong computer skills, including intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel</p> <p>Effective interpersonal and both written and verbal communication skills</p> <p>Well-developed problem solving, organizational and analytical skills</p> <p>Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines as well as flexibility to adapt to changing priorities</p> <p>Interest and aptitude to learn new technologies</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>1-3 years of experience in Pricing, Finance, or Data Analysis</p> <p>Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools or databases</p>
