<p>Main Duties:</p> <p>Create cultural change in the plants through creating a learning culture. Each role will have a "certification" with trainers. Everyone in the plant will constantly be in a state of learning from those more experienced then them and teaching those who are less experienced. The Technical Trainer will work with SMEs to build the criteria for each certification as well as develop all materials for learning and evaluation. A critical element of this will also be developing the teaching abilities of the plant level trainers. The Technical Trainer should be focused on helping plants achieve their business goals such as: improving PoE, efficiency, safety, and other important outcomes.</p> <p>Build Certification: Execute</p> <ul> <li>Follow the certification process format to work with SMEs to develop criteria to ensure the plants feel they were part of the process. </li><li>Oversee creation of SOPs and validation criteria for each area. </li></ul> <p>o Create visuals/videos.</p> <ul> <li>Oversee creation of training materials to support employees skill/knowledge development. </li><li>Enter validation criteria into LMS. </li><li>Coordinate translation of materials into Spanish and Burmese. </li></ul> <p>Learning Management System Owner: Execute</p> <ul> <li>Own the relationship between Sabert and LMS for the location. </li><li>Carry out the vision of the LMS governance team. </li><li>Ensure all new/current users are trained. </li><li>Ensure reports are accurate and up-to-date. </li><li>Monitor class pass rates; if pass rates are low, work with course owners to improve course effectiveness. </li></ul> <p>Train Trainers: Teach</p> <ul> <li>Use surveys to ensure that the quality of training is high during the certification trainings. </li><li>Work with trainers on an ongoing basis to improve their individual abilities. </li><li>Help plants think through who should conduct trainings. </li><li>Build a pipeline of trainers. </li></ul> <p>Plants Completely Adopt Program: Influence</p> <ul> <li>Create communication documents that plants can use to explain the program. </li><li>Plants have a regular cadence for program progress review (monthly/quarterly). </li><li>Employees are progressing through the program at an appropriate pace (as determined with stakeholders). </li><li>Plant business metrics improve. </li><li>Employees know where they stand and take ownership of improving their learning. </li><li>Plants regularly prioritize making time to train. </li></ul> <p>Critical Job Elements</p> <ul> <li>Sense of urgency (and ability to create a sense of urgency at the plant level). </li><li>Team player. </li><li>Mechanical ability. </li><li>Willing to working overtime and travel (as needed). </li><li>Ability to communicate training requirements and process in a clear and consistent way. </li><li>Knowledge of equipment is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Other</p> <ul> <li>Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, quality, product safety and legality, security, and regulatory compliance as applicable. </li></ul>
