You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and perform specialized procedures, including:</p> <ul> <li>Bone conduction devices and Cochlear implant devices </li><li>Vestibular testing for balance and dizziness assessment </li><li>Provide high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitative services for hearing and ear health outcomes </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform audiological testing, including audiometry, impedance, and other diagnostic evaluations. </li><li>Evaluate, fit, dispense, and provide minor repairs and follow-up services for hearing aids and assistive listening devices. </li><li>Provide patient counseling on all aspects of hearing and ear health, including tinnitus management, hearing loss, hearing protection, and cerumen (ear wax) management. </li><li>Educate patients on hearing aid use, technologies, styles, and care-while discussing cost, benefits, and expectations. </li><li>Deliver age-appropriate and developmentally sensitive care to patients. </li><li>Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, along with entering appropriate CPT and diagnostic billing codes. </li><li>Implement physician/provider orders and reinforce treatment plans. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including ISDH, OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and HFAP. </li><li>Stay current on healthcare trends and audiology best practices through ongoing professional development, CME, and internal training. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's Degree in Clinical Audiology </li><li>Licensure or eligibility through the Indiana Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology </li><li>Experience is preferred but not required - new grads are encouraged to apply! </li></ul> <p>Keywords:</p> <p>Audiologist job in Indiana, hearing specialist careers, audiology jobs Midwest, ENT audiologist openings, adult audiology care, audiologist job near Evansville, Indiana audiologist hiring, Cochlear implant, BAHA</p>
