<p>What does an Associate Logistics Engineer do at Swire Coca-Cola?An Associate Logistics Engineer supports process improvement and capacity projects, typically related to cost improvement. They may perform operational analysis, process improvement, facility and capacity planning, and project management. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects, possesses excellent communication and analytical skills, works well with a team, interacts with multiple levels and functions within the Logistics organization.Responsibilities:</p> <p>Conducts detailed time studies, labor analysis, network modeling, flow path analysis, supply chain analysis, and statistical analysis to drive data-based decisions across logistics operations. Supports Logistics process improvement opportunities through analysis, and critical thinking. Supports cross-functional strategic or process improvement projects. Develops reports and runs ad hoc queries. Identifies and develops standard operating procedures to streamline operating processes. Develops business tools and solutions in partnership with Technology based on knowledge, product or technology, leveraging best practices and engineering standards when designing, developing, and deploying solutions. Reviews and recommends system/software enhancements as needed. Provides facility and capacity planning analysis for distribution and transportation functions in Logistics. Track and report on metrics and key performance indicators for assigned business units. Performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree Mathematics/Statistics, Logistics, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred or Associate's degree Any STEM field required Level 1 AutoCAD Certifications from an approved institution preferred Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred Certified Remote Pilot (Drone) - FAA Part 107 preferred No experience required with a bachelor's degree required or 4+ years Demonstrated technical Logistics or Manufacturing environment experience with associate's degree required Basic principles of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics operations Fundamentals of warehouse operations, material handling systems, and storage methods Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies (introductory level) Data analysis concepts and basic statistics for process improvement and software tools (e.g. Minitab, JMP) ERP/WMS/TMS software familiarity (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Blue Yonder) Productivity tools - MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams Basic data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) Entry-level CAD or layout software (AutoCAD, Visio) for workflow and facility layout diagrams Database query basics (SQL or similar) Exposure to simulation software or modeling tools for logistics (e.g. Arena, FlexSim, AnyLogic) Willingness to travel and work on-site in warehouse or manufacturing environments as needed</p>
