Provides continual training to UTA and other support functions in the unit. Process endorsements for Underwriters.</p> <p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Provides training for rating staff in all aspects of rating Commercial Automobile (fleets and experience rating) and OTA lines of business </li><li>Works with management to develop training plans </li><li>Quotes rates and premium returns for Underwriting. </li><li>Performs special unit projects which may involve delegating work to others </li><li>Processes endorsement within limits of authority granted by Director. </li><li>Works with underwriters to review and process claim and loss requests. Sending requests to agent of record and named insured only. </li><li>Rec. letters as approved by underwriter (including first follow up) No response - UW </li><li>Review and issue new business policies that meet certain outlined criteria </li><li>Review and issue renewal policies that meet certain outlined criteria </li><li>Review and issue changes to policies within authority </li><li>Provides customer service support to unit, including handling of incoming calls from agents </li><li>Performs other activities as required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or Previous Commercial Lines Underwriting/ Processing experience required </li><li>Customer service experience </li><li>Detail oriented and strong ability to plan and organize effectively </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills required </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li></ul>
