<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Rotating Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Come join our Patient Access team at Johnson Memorial Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England!</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>Completes patient registrations/pre-registration processes following department procedures using identified technology systems. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Performs complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions</p> </li><li> <p>Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are</p> </li><li> <p>Collects non-covered fees</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum High school or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal, communication and interview skills</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer systems and computer devices</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights and Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>Full time 40hr M-F 8-4:30 in Enfield except every 4th weekend at Johnson Memorial Hospital (with some weekdays off).
