<p>The Extreme Event Solutions team within Verisk is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Risk Consultant to join our Consulting and Client Service Group (CCSG), working in the CCSG Operations team to support our internal clients.</p> <p>The main objective of the CCSG Operations team is to support the internal functioning of the Consulting and Client Services Group by developing internal tools, automating reoccurring processes, promoting efficiency and continuous process improvements.</p> <p>By assisting the internal teams in their operations, we support the shared mission to provide exemplary service and support that allows clients to obtain the maximum value from the products and services they license from Verisk.</p> <p>Main responsibilities:</p> <p>The main areas of focus for this role will be:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Assist in building, automating, and maintaining processes to assist with CCSG teams with their day to day workflows. This can include processes to automatically extract results from Touchstone (Re) and Verisk Synergy Studio using tools such as SSMS, Power BI, Power Query, Python or others. These tools can be used in Change Management efforts to help clients more easily interpret their modeled losses, and other consulting-related projects and exercises.</p> </li><li> <p>Helping manage and administer content for our training programs which are the Certified Extreme Events Modeler Institute and CATSchool using the Digital Chalk platform.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the use of Salesforce for support efforts: Understanding how the different teams use Salesforce, creating custom reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders, reviewing and identifying areas to improve the support workflow across the different products we support.</p> </li><li> <p>Help support operational excellence and continuous process improvement efforts in and around CCSG by assisting in identifying areas of improvement with a problem-solving mindset.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate directly with internal clients to develop project timelines and manage deliverable expectations.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as an ambassador of Verisk to our clients and prospects.</p> </li></ol> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Technical proficiency such as 3+ years of experience coding (Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Power Query preferred) </li><li>Strong project management skills </li><li>Proactive problem-solving skills </li><li>Detailed and results orientated </li><li>Client service-focused </li><li>Ability to learn quickly, teach oneself, and adapt to new technologies and opportunities </li><li>Strong presentation and written communication skills </li><li>Highly organized with the flexibility to adjust to evolving demands </li><li>Technical proficiency such as 3+ years of experience coding (Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Power Query preferred) </li><li>Strong project management skills </li><li>Proactive problem-solving skills </li><li>Detailed and results orientated </li><li>Client service-focused </li><li>Ability to learn quickly, teach oneself, and adapt to new technologies and opportunities </li><li>Strong presentation and written communication skills </li><li>Highly organized with the flexibility to adjust to evolving demands </li><li>Bachelor's Degree that included quantitative courses such as mathematics, actuarial science, business, or computer or data science </li><li>Qualifications to support a culture of continuous improvement </li><li>Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher preferred </li></ul>
