<p>The Associate Actuary, US Reporting & Analysis, will support the timely and accurate of the quarterly US regulatory reporting, Annual Financial Audits and annual Appointed Actuary supports. The role will focus on US Statutory, US GAAP, and US Tax reporting, ensuring high-quality analyses and strong collaboration across actuarial and finance teams.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associateship of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field with demonstrated record of academic excellence</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience with financial valuation, modeling, cash flow analysis in the insurance or reinsurance industry</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of US Statutory and US GAAP reporting and analysis within the industry.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative team member in an intellectually vibrant and commercially sophisticated environment</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, maintaining an agile mindset.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational & planning skills with ability to meet multiple competing deliverables and manage projects</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to build & maintain relationships with a diverse group of colleagues throughout the SCOR Group</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to understand complex models and perform valuation, modeling, and analysis to deliver required results</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to identify and implement departmental processes and controls and ensure appropriately documented</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and relationship building.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in actuarial software, database, and reporting tools</p> </li></ul> <p>Relocation assistance within the U.S. is available for this position.</p> <p>Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.</p> <p>Hybrid Work Policy: SCOR is committed to an "in office" culture where people can collaborate, exchange ideas, and establish stronger working relationships while still providing flexibility. SCOR employees work 3 days per week in an office with the flexibility to work 2 days per week remotely.</p> <p>Pay Range for roles performed in NC: $100,000-$123,000 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location,</p> <p>experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation</p> <p>package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives.
