<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Gynecologic Oncology.</p> <p>We are seeking an Ambulatory Nurse to work in our busy Gynecologic Oncology department. The ideal candidate will display a drive to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly scientific inquiry, compassion for the human spirit and mind, advocacy and education for the patient and families, and collaboration with all those who touch our patients.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Office-based nursing assessment and care </li><li>Procedural support </li><li>telephone triage and management </li><li>Onboarding of new patients </li><li>Management, and support of patients on cancer treatments </li><li>Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Graduate of an accredited R.N. program. </li><li>Licensure: Current Connecticut R.N. license required; CPR required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred. </li><li>Experience: Competent in a Windows-based computer system. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Multi-tasking, problem solving and decision-making skills required. Ability to organize, analyze and interpret clinical data. High level of dependability and accuracy required. </li><li>Flexibility to meet the coverage needs of the department. </li><li>Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Certification: National certification in area of specialty </li><li>Experience: Three (3) to four (4) years of related clinical and/or hospital experience, or previous experience in a hospital or ambulatory care setting preferred. </li></ul> <p>Highlights</p> <ul> <li>Great benefits effective </li><li>Patient-centric environment </li><li>Career growth and advancement potential </li><li>Day Shift.
