<p>Supervision Exercised:</p> <p>Director of Revenue Cycle, Director of Facility Operations, Director of IS/IT, Director of ASC, Directors of Ancillary Services (Lab, Radiology, PT, Pharmacy), and Administrative Assistant.</p> <p>General Summary:</p> <p>Oversees operational aspects of revenue generation, expense control, efficiency creation, and risk mitigation of The Toledo Clinic; directly supervises service line operations Directors and/or Managers. Provides guidance and leadership to the Clinic and strives to maintain an excellent public image of The Toledo Clinic.</p> <p>Works under the supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer and will be required to attend necessary executive and Board level meetings where required.</p> <p>Principal Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>Example of Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Manages and leads all operational aspects of the Clinic's service and support lines. </li><li>Oversees daily revenue, expense, efficiency and risks of clinic operations through management of department Directors. </li><li>Creates and monitors the budgets of operational services and notifies Chief Administrator and CFO of any projected variances from that budget. </li><li>Directs assigned staff. </li><li>Oversees support staff and ensures they are performing their functions correctly. </li><li>Acts as a liaison between physicians, management, and staff, in collaboration with the decisions made by the Chief Administrator. </li><li>Recommends and supports methods for operational improvement. </li><li>Participates, either clinic wide, individually or as a group, in community events fostering TCI publicity and community relations in a positive manner. </li><li>Is aware of the clinic's financial well-being and explains to the board methods in place for improving - following through to completion. </li><li>Establishes and monitors operational goals within the clinic and departments. </li></ul> <p>Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>Attends seminars or meetings regarding physician practice operations. </li><li>Works with Clinic personnel to provide training and support. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Five Years' experience in Health Care Administration and/or Operations Management </li><li>Full knowledge of the operation of a healthcare facility - broad spectrum </li><li>Ability to problem solve and develop realistic solutions </li><li>Adheres to, and ensures compliance with, the clinic's policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree business or health care administration management experience required. </li></ul>
