We deeply care about our team-members and partners and strive to provide a culture where people feel valued and inspired.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Job Description: The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the skilled nursing facility's physical plant, equipment, and grounds. This position is responsible for ensuring the facility is in compliance with all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to, federal, state, and local regulations, and all safety requirements</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, organize and direct the overall operation of the maintenance department in accordance with established policies and procedures. </li><li>Maintain the facility in a safe, comfortable and attractive manner. </li><li>Manage and supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance. </li><li>Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for the facility's equipment and systems. </li><li>Inspect the facility regularly for potential hazards and report any problems to the Administrator. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and safety requirements, including OSHA and fire safety regulations. </li><li>Develop and manage the maintenance department budget and control expenses. </li><li>Coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors and vendors. </li><li>Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. </li><li>Respond to emergency maintenance requests as necessary. </li><li>Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for the operation of the maintenance department. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. </li><li>5 years of experience in maintenance management or related field. </li><li>Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong leadership and team-building skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. </li><li>Valid driver's license. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time. </li><li>Ability to work in varying temperatures, indoors and outdoors. </li></ul>
